A source tells ETimes that, “There is only one cut that has been given in the UAE is frontal nudity which is also given by the Indian Censor board. But the only difference is the CBFC here has made the makers do about 34 modification for an Adult certificate.” We have also learnt that the makers of the film did requested for a ‘U/A’ certificate but the CBFC apparently told them they would make about 90 modification forcing the producers to take an A certificate.
Meanwhile, a screening of ‘OMG 2’ was held in Mumbai today. It was attended by Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripati, Yami Gautam among others. Earlier, Akshay had also organised the screening for Sadhguru, which took place at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. After watching the film, Sadhguru shared his thoughts on Twitter and expressed gratitude to Akshay for the opportunity.
He had written, “Namaskaram @akshaykumar. Wonderful having you here at the Isha Yoga Center & learning about ‘Oh My God -2’. Educating young people on how to handle their bodily needs is most essential if we want to cultivate a society that is sensitive to the safety & dignity of its women. It is time our education system focuses on equipping our youth to handle their body, mind & emotions rather than being purely information oriented.” They even shared a heartwarming video of their time together, showcasing not just the film viewing but also a friendly frisbee match.
