Later, Imran shared some stills from ‘Luck’ on Instagram and revealed that he burnt his eyelashes during a scene. He said, “Speaking of Luck…
I found these old pictures, and thought they would be interesting to share. Yes, that’s real fire. The umbrella helped with the sun, but not the flames. My eyelashes actually got burned off during a take, when an explosion went off too close in front of me. And yes, that’s also really me strapped to the outside of a flying Cessna.”
A content creator made a reel saying that Imran needs validation to make a comeback to movies. He also spoke about Imran’s good performance in movies like ‘Jaane Tu..Ya Jaane Na‘, ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’ and ‘I Hate Luv Storys’.
Imran gave his clarification and commented on the post saying, “The truth is, it was never about a million likes. I picked the number because it seemed unattainable, and since it would never happen anyway, I could just quietly retreat again, no questions asked. I didn’t count on all of you picking it up and carrying it forward… After all this time, I didn’t think anyone would still care enough to reach out and tell me they believe in me. Your love humbles me,” he wrote.
However, a troll commented on this post and said, “1 million likes if y’all want Imran Khan to return your money if you paid to watch Kidnap and Luck.” But Imran also had a shocking reply to this comment. “That money actually goes to the theatre owners first, then to the producers…as it happens, they never cleared my final payment on that film, so maybe we can all take the issue up with them?’
The 2009 movie ‘Luck’ starred Imran along with Shruti Haasan, Sanjay Dutt and Mithun Chakraborty.
