The first look poster of Ji Chang-wook and Wi Ha-jun starrer ‘The Worst of Evil’ has been unveiled and it promises a dark thriller. Dressed in dapper suits, the duo has joined forces for this gripping crime drama, which is set in 1990s South Korea.
‘The Worst of Evil’ will feature Ji Chang-wook as Park Joon-mo, a police officer who infiltrates a gang to take down a major illegal drugs trade.
While Wi Han Joon will essay the role of Jung Ki-chul, the charismatic leader of the Gangnam drug cartel. Taking over the streets of Korea, the duo promises an intense drama. The series stars Im She-mi as Park Joon-mo’s wife and a narcotics officer.
‘The Worst of Evil’ is helmed by Han Dong-wook, who previously worked on projects like ‘Man In Love’ (2014) and ‘The Unjust’ (2010). The team shot for ‘The Worst of Evil’ all through 2022. Along with the posters, the makers also revealed that ‘The Worst of Evil’ will premiere on September 27, 2023 on an OTT platform.
