Sunny Deol to host a special screening of ‘Gadar 2’ for President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday | Hindi Movie News

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar 2‘ has just released today. The film which is a sequel to the 2001 hit ‘Gadar’ and the advance bookings have already been promising. It took 22 years for the sequel to be made because Sunny had revealed at the trailer launch event that they didn’t want to make something which can hamper the love which which the first part has received.

Now, one hears that Sunny Deol is set to organise a special screening of the film for the honorable President Of India Droupadi Murmu.

A report in Pinkvilla suggests that the cast and crew of the movie will host a private screening for the President on Sunday, August 13, in New Delhi.
Sunny reprises his role of Tara Singh and the film yet again, largely revolves around the spirit of patriotism. Hence, it’s also releasing at a great time around Independence day and it shall get a longer holiday period to make the most at the box office. It revolves around Tara’s journey to get his son back from Pakistan who is imprisoned there during the ‘Crush India’ campaign. Utkarsh Sharma who had also played their child in ‘Gadar’ is one board for his character even in the sequel.
Manish Wadhwa plays a negative role in the film. ‘Gadar 2’ directed by Anil Sharma, is clashing today at the box office with Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2‘ and the weekend numbers will decide which film is being liked more by the audiences.
