However, the bank on Monday issued a correction saying that “the e-auction with regards to sale notice in respect of Ajay Singh Deol alias Sunny Deol stands withdrawn due to technical reasons”
After several speculative reports and official statements, Sunny has finally reacted on the matter.“I do not want to comment. These are personal matters. Main kuch bhi bolunga, log galat matlab nikalenge,” Sunny Deol was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Earlier, his team had issued a statement that read, ‘We are in process of resolving this issue and the issue will be resolved. We request for no further speculation on the same’.
Amidst all this, reports were also rife that Akshay Kumar came forward to help the ‘Gadar 2‘ actor and allegedly offered to pay a ‘huge chunk’ of the loan to save Sunny’s Juhu home. A report in Bollywood Hungama also added that Sunny will then repay the loan to Akshay in a stipulated time. The next step for Sunny is to immediately initiate a meeting with the bank officials.
However, Akshay’s team rubbished all such reports. Akshay Kumar’s spokesperson clarified, “All such claims are absolutely untrue”.
Meanwhile, ‘Gadar 2’ has been doing a record-breaking collection at the box office ever since the film released on August 11. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. The film had locked horns with Akshay’s ‘OMG 2‘ at the box office. ‘OMG 2’ also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles. Both the films received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
