SSC Delhi Police Driver 2022 Eligibility

To be eligible for the Delhi Police Constable Exam 2022, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

1) Nationality/ Citizenship

Indian citizens are required to apply for the position.

2) Education Qualification (as of 29/07/2022).

On the closing date for online applications, candidates must have completed 10+ 2 (Senior Secondary), from any recognized school board. 27th July 2022

Only for:

i) Bandsmen and buglers, mounted constables drivers, dispatchers, etc. Only for Delhi Police

iii) Sons and daughters of deceased or serving police officers, including MultiTasking Staff at Delhi Police.

3) Age limit (as of 01/07/2022

The candidate must be 21 to 30 years. The candidate must be born no earlier than 02/07/1992 or later than 01/07/2001. Only the following situations will allow for an exemption from the upper age limit:

(i) Maximum 5 years for candidates from Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribe categories.

(iii) Maximum 3 years for OBC Category candidates

iii. Maximum 5 years for athletes of distinction who have represented a country at the International or State level in the sport during the three preceding years.

iv) In the case of Delhi Police departmental candidates, relaxation in the upper age limit may be granted up to 40 years for general categories (UR), 43 for OBC, and 45 for SCs/STs.

v) Relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible up to 29 years in the case of sons of serving, retired or deceased police personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police.

4) Essential Requirement

a) Must be able to drive heavy vehicles confidently

b) Valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles (as of 29/07/2022).

c) Knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
