Post success of ‘Gadar 2’, Sunny Deol starrer ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ gets a sequel – See announcement poster | Hindi Movie News

After the success of ‘Gadar 2‘, several of Sunny Deol‘s films have been gearing up for sequels. While reports were rife that ‘Border 2′ is in pipeline, makers of ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam‘ announced the second instalment of the film with a poster.

The poster consists of the film’s title, a tricolour and a massy dialogue. ‘Maa Tujhhe Salaam’ had the famous dialogue, ‘Doodh maangoge toh kheer denge, Kashmir maangoge toh chheer denge’. Now its sequel takes this dialogue one step further. It says, ‘Doodh maangoge toh kheer denge, Kashmir maangoge toh Lahore bhi chheen lenge’.
‘Maa Tujhhe Salaam’ also starred Arbaaz Khan and Tabu in lead roles. While the star cast of the sequel has not been announced yet, Sunny is expected to star in it as well.
Meanwhile, ‘Gadar 2’ was released 22 years after the release of the first instalment of the film. Directed by Amit Sharma, the film also starred Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. The film has been doing record-breaking collections at the box office. ‘Gadar 2’ crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in just one week.
