Kartik Aaryan shares the biggest perspective he got after Shehzada failure: That I would not do a remake film again | Hindi Movie News

Kartik Aaryan was riding high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. But his next release Shehzada, which was an official remake of Allu Arjun‘s 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, terribly bombed at the box office. The film’s failure has made Kartik realise that he would not enjoy doing a remake again.

He told BBC that Shehzada failuregave him the biggest perspective that he would not do a remake film.

He mentioned it was his first time where he acted in a remake film and it was a different experience while filming.
Later he realised that Shehzada was something that people had already seen and they didn’t want to see it again in theatres by spending their hard earned money on tickets. The movie managed to earn Rs 47 crore worldwide, with Rs 38 crore collection in India.

He further added, “Because every now and then a remake arrives, you know, there’s a script, which is a remake. But I’ve decided that I would not enjoy it. I would not like to do something which somebody has done.”
On the work front, Kartik recently shared his first look from the upcoming film Chandu Champion and informed fans that he has wrapped the first shoot schedule of the Kabir Khan directorial in London, UK. According to the makers, the film is based on the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his spirit of never giving up. It is set to hit the screens on June 14 next year.
