Keeping up with his usual sweatshirt and a messy hairdo, the star headed to a theatre full of cheering fans and engaged in a fun Q&A session. There he took questions about the movie, his love for chole bature and more.
However, the best question at the session came from a female fan who mustered up the courage to ask the hunk, “Will you marry me?”
A viral video doing the rounds sees a young lady taking over the microphone to ask her question to the actor. “I know I will never get a chance to ask this question ever again… will you marry me?” she asked.
Smiling from ear to ear, Kartik seemed to be at a loss of words as a theatre full of fans waited in silence for his response. To see how he reacted, watch the video below:
Kartik marked his attendance at the festival, wher he will be honoured with ‘The Rising Global Superstar of Indian Cinema’ award by the Governor of Victoria for his accomplishments.
IFFM also showcased multiple screenings of Kartik’s films including ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, which emerged as one of the biggest hits of 2022.
“It is a tremendous privilege to receive this recognition for my work in Indian cinema. I have always believed in the power of storytelling and the ability of films to touch hearts and inspire minds. I look forward to celebrating the magic of cinema together,” Kartik said in a statement.
On the work front, Kartik will be seen next in the Kabir Khan film ‘Chandu Champion’ that has been booked for a June 14, 2024 release.
