When asked about getting trolled after announcing her pregnancy on social media, Kalki revealed the reason why she didn’t marry her boyfriend Guy Hershberg who is a Israeli pianist.
She told Mashable India that it was their conscious decision not to marry.
She shared that she was previous married to directorAnurag Kashyap and she was already divorced. Her partner was also not keen on getting married. He had told her that he was not interested in marriage. But they were living together.
In September 2019, Kalki had confirmed that she was five months pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend Guy Hershberg after dating for over two years. The couple welcomed their baby daughter Sappho in Goa in 2020.
Earlier, Kalki had shared that she did not feel the maternal instinct in the first two months because hers was an unexpected pregnancy. But she was thrilled when she first heard the heartbeat of her unborn child.
She had also said that they didn’t want to rush into marriage just because she was pregnant. She had said that if it is necessary for the documentation, bureaucracy and school registrations of their child, then they will consider it. Otherwise, they have enough validation from each other and their families when it comes to romantic commitments.
