Mr Bachchan noticed it and from that day onwards, the two of them became like friends, and he would pull the senior actor’s beard on the set.
He also revealed at that time his mother was having trouble in securing a good school for him, as she was keen on getting him admitted to Jamnabai Narsee School – a popular school in Juhu, Mumbai. And the Big B, personally went and spoke to the authorities and he got the admission done. Ishaan also added that he was completely unaware about this incident, till one day his mother casually shared it with him.

The film, set during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971, sees him in the role of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta.
