Heart of Stone Twitter review: Despite the charisma of Alia Bhatt and Gal Gadot, netizens find this espionage thriller “strictly average”

‘Heart of Stone‘, the new film on OTT starring Gal Gadot and Alia Bhatt, has earned a mixed bag of reviews. Packed with action, this espionage thriller stars ‘Wonder Woman’ Gal Gadot as Rachel Stone, an intelligence operative, Jamie Dornan as her aide named Parker and Alia Bhatt as Keya Dhawan, the antagonist.

Audience reactions have been pouring in ever since the movie premiered on OTT on August 11.

Brian M commented on rottentomatoes.com, “The action scenes were well choreographed, and the plot was very fitting for the current times with its use of AI. It reminded me of Mission Impossible, another action series I love to watch.”
A self-professed fan from Mexico tweeted, “oh my girl #AliaBhatt I want you to get so much love from my country… so hope this film (is the) beginning of even a more bright future for you.” Another user commented, “alia bhatt thought hollywood is going to be her playground as well where she will walk in and heap praises for her mediocrity. heart of stone is a rather lousy attempt by her to be a deepika padukone or priyanka chopra….” Alia’s loyal fan base reflected in this tweet, “It’s awesome that alia’s character is important to the plot and written well in a Hollywood film…it’s fun to see her interacting with Gal Gadot.”
‘Heart of Stone’ scored an average of 5.7/10 on IMDb.com and has a critics’ score of a low 30 per cent on the tomatometer. Audience reviews are better and stand at 62 per cent.
