Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are currently the most exciting creators on OTT. In the past, they’ve created titles like The Family Man, Farzi and Cinema Bandi. And now they are coming together to create a unique story that is based in a fictitious town called Gulaabganj. The creators have put together a stellar cast of Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, TJ Bhanu, and Gulshan Devaiah for the show and the trailer is set to drop on August 2.
The show is the story of Gulaabganj where from first kiss to first kill can happen in no time, where gangs run riot, where a cartel heir is reluctant to pull the trigger on his new life, a mechanic is looking for love and an officer is struggling to keep his secrets.
Besides Guns & Gulaabs, Raj and DK are also working on the Indian chapter of Citadel where they have teamed up with Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Sikander Kher. It is billed as one of the most entertaining action packed series in the country right now, where Varun and Sikander had to undergo special training for weeks to get action movements in place.
