Amidst this, some miscreants threw two low intensity bombs outside a single screen theatre in Patna, Bihar. Out of the two bombs, one reportedly exploded. However, no casualties have been reported.
The two suspects, who allegedly created ruckus and threw the bombs, have also been reportedly arrested.The owner of the cinema hall Suman Sinha confirmed the incident and told Bollywood Hungama that problems were created by a couple of people who wanted to black market the tickets of ‘Gadar 2’. He also revealed that they tried to bully his staff. However, nothing serious happened.
Talking about the blast, Sinha said that they blasted it away from our cinema hall. According to him, they wanted permission to sell the tickets in black and his team is never a party to all those things.
Anil Sharma released the sequel of blockbuster ‘Gadar’ after 22 glorious years. The film still managed to attract the audience into the theatres. Not only fans, many Bollywood celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Shatrughan Sinha and others have flocked to the theatres to watch the film.
The film also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. It released on August 11 and locked horns with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG 2’ at the box office.
