‘Gadar 2’ screening in Noida halted as projector malfunctions; fans to get refund | Hindi Movie News

Gadar 2’ has been on a riot in theatres and audiences are thronging theatres. However, those who booked tickets at a theatre inside Noida’s Logix Mall for Sunday were left with a bitter experience.

Apparently the screen projector stopped multiple times during the screening of ‘Gadar2’ and a ruckus broke out in the audience. Even cops were called in to handle the situation.

Due to the malfunctioning of the projector, the audience couldn’t enjoy ‘Gadar 2’ and the theatre has assured to refund the money to the moviegoers.
Directed by Anil Sharma, ‘Gadar 2’ is a sequel to 2001 film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. It features Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma reprising their roles from the first film. ‘Gadar 2’ earned Rs 39 crore on its opening day and went on to earn Rs 41 crore on Saturday. The film witnessed a huge jump in collection on Sunday and is expected to close its first weekend business with over Rs 100 crore collection. Celebrating the success of the movie, director Anil Sharma tweeted, “Jab ishwar ki kripa hoti hai, tab aisa pyar milta hai … thx everyone 💛 Gadar 2 aapki film thi, aapke liye leke aaya, aapne pyar diya- thank you very much again”.
