Dulquer Salmaan talks about Prabhas’ stardom, reveals what he felt when he visited the sets of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ | Hindi Movie News

Dulquer Salmaan has a huge fan following, especially among the female audiences. Having said that, the actor has recently revealed in an interview with ETimes that he never seeked to be a huge superstar. However, here’s what changed his perspective. Dulquer is currently promoting his next project, ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ which will release on OTT. The series also stars Rajkummar Rao and Gulshan Devaiah.

During a fun rapid fire round with ETimes, Dulquer was asked about the qualities he would love to steal from some stars. When asked about the one thing he would like to steal from Prabhas, Dulquer revealed, “I never seeked to be this massive superstar, until I visited the sets of Kalki 2898 AD (Project K). I went wow, and was like, ‘if this gentleman can green lit a film of this magnitude, anything can happen.’ That one moment I understood what it means to be a star of that magnitude.”
Initially, the title of this film directed by Nag Ashwin wasn’t revealed and it was called ‘Project K’. But the title was unveiled at the Comic Con 2023. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan as well and the first look teaser was also launched at the Comic Con.

Apart from Prabhas, the ‘OK Kanmani’ actor further spoke about Allu Arjun and said he would love to steal his energy. “He is so gifted, I’m sure hours and hours of hard work must have gone into it. But the way he dances or performs, he’s so malleable. Throw any situation at him and he will do it.”
