In a recent interview, the senior actor said that there was a time when he had around 80 films simultaneously in production. While some offered meaty roles, some had small appearances.
Ranjeet also added that most of his scenes in the films involved molestation or pulling saris of heroines.According to him, he was fed up with the same kind of work. He also recalled the time when his mother visited him in Mumbai and while she was leaving he couldn’t even go to drop her because he was busy working. His parents had told him they don’t shit to Mumbai because he has no time for them, he told Leheren.
He also went on to reveal that his schedule was hectic due to the lack of punctuality amongst the heroes of the films he worked on. So he started working in shifts. Ranjeet also shared that his co-stars would come to his house and party after the pack up.
Ranjeet has films like Farebi, Nagin, Amar Akbar Anthony, Naya Daur, Suhaag, Rocky, Sarfarosh and the Housefull franchise, among others to his credit.
