Recently, Alia and Gal answered the most googled questions about them during an interview with Wired. One of the questions that came up was, “Does Alia Bhatt speak Telugu?” Alia said that though not fluent in the language, she does know a couple of phrases.
Gadot then asked her to speak in Telugu. Alia then said, “Andariki namaskaram,” which translates to “Hello everyone.” Gadot followed suit and tried to speak the language.
Alia was also asked if she was part of the Oscar winning Naatu Naatu song, to which she replied, “Unfortunately, no.” However, she did do the hook step of the iconic number and even taught Gal a step or two.
Earlier, Alia was quizzed about the different working style in Hollywood, as opposed to Bollywood. To this, the actor replied, “a film star all over the world is the same. Same people, same vision, same spirit, same intention. However only the language is very different, but the story-telling – key core emotions, remains the same.”
