According to an entertainment portal, Akshay was battling Covid when he was offered the film’s script. His case was severe. So he had silently checked himself into a hospital in Mumbai to ensure the safety of his family.
From the hospital bed, Akshay used to have discussions on the script via video calls and that’s when the Khiladi Kumar reportedly locked the final script of OMG 2.
The trailer of OMG 2 was recently unveiled on social media. As per the changes suggested by the censor board, Akshay will not be seen playing Lord Shiva, but a messenger of God. Pankaj will be playing the role of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, who worships Lord Shiva with utmost dedication while Yami plays the role of a lawyer.
OMG 2 has been under the radar ever since the makers unveiled the film’s posters and teaser. Several reports claimed that the film was put on hold by the censor board as the committee wanted to be extra cautious due to the film’s religious theme while discussing the topic of sex education.
