Adarsh Gourav has learned NOT to trust Sidharth Malhotra – here’s why | Hindi Movie News



Adarsh Gourav made his debut as a child actor in Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan. He then went on to do films like Mom, The White Tiger and Extrapolations. He will soon be seen in Raj and DK’s Guns & Gulaabs. The actor recently revealed to Indian Express his biggest learning from the sets of My Name Is Khan.
The actor was barely 14 when he played the young Rizwan Khan; the character then played by Shah Rukh Khanin the film.It was also his first time ever being on the film set. On being asked about his biggest learning from the set, he revealed it was not to trustSidharth Malhotra! Sidharth was Karan Johar’s assistant director on the film along with Varun Dhawan.
He further stated that Sidharth convinced him that he had to swim across the floor pointing to the scene in which he had to pump out the water using a cycle. And poor Adarsh didn’t know how to swim and he was extremely stressed out, wondering what he will do. He was also in two minds about telling the director that he doesn’t know how to swim, but finally he knew the scene was about cycling and not swimming.
He also went on to reveal that it was a beautiful experience to be on the sets of a Karan Johar film. He remembers his family meeting Karan Johar and it was like a festival for the family as they felt this was the first and the last time he will be acting in a film. So each day a different family member would accompany him on the set.
