During one of the interviews during promotions, AB was asked about the rumours that ‘Dhoom 4‘ is being made.
The actor told India Today, that ifAditya Chopra was making the film, he would have told him. “Not that I know of,” said Abhishek. He added that he can’t confirm or deny, however, if the film was being made, ‘Adi would have told me’ and Abhishek would have known about it.
When asked about being a part of an action film, the actor further said he would love to do it. Just that he’s kept very busy in the last few years. He said he’s been a part of 5-6 movies in the last two years.
The actor had back-to-back projects like ‘Ludo’, two seasons of ‘Breathe Into The Shadows’, ‘Bob Biswas‘, ‘Dasvi’ among others. Meanwhile, ‘Ghoomer’ is set to release on August 18. The film also sees Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo, but the father and son do not have a scene together in the movie.
Talking about his prep for ‘Ghoomer’, Abhishek had said he had taken some tips from Rohan Gavaskar. He had said at the trailer launch event, “The character I played Paddy sir is an ex Indian cricketer and he’s a left arm spin bowler. Although, I’m a leftie, weirdly, I bat with my right. I’m ambidextrous. I bowl with my right hand. But I write with my right hand. The only training I had to do was to train myself with the left hand so I spoke to one of my dearest friends, my childhood friend who is a left arm spinner, Rohan Gavaskar. He’s one of the people I have maximum respect for, with the way he conducts himself and his life. So, I asked him for some tips and he helped me. That was the preparation to make it look as natural as possible. Apart from that, I just copied Balki, even if you see my look in the film, it’s like him.”
