As the film premiered in Melbourne, it got a standing ovation and the cast and crew was left overwhelmed.
Abhishek was emotional with the response as he couldn’t hold his tears. He was then seen hugging his co-stars Angad Bedi, Saiyami andShabana Azmi.

The actor had spoken at the trailer launch even that he took some tips from Rohan Gavaskar for is role in the film, so that his cricketing skills looks natural. But as far as emotional quotient and body language of the character was concerned, he just copied his director R Balki. ‘Ghoomer’ is set to release on August 18.
