Aamir Khan’s film for son Junaid Khan is the remake of a Thai film called ‘One Day’: Report | Hindi Movie News

Aamir Khan‘s son Junaid Khan is set to make his debut with ‘Maharaja‘ produced by Yash Raj Films. Meanwhile, his next film has also been finalised. It was reported a while ago, that Junaid is going to star in a film opposite Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. Khushi is making her debut with The Archies on OTT.

Now a latest report in Pinkvilla, suggests that this film starring Junaid and Khushi is the remake of a Thai film called ‘One Day’.

It had released in 2016, and Junaid is set to play a 30-year old shy police officer in the film. The film is a romance drama and will be directed bySunil Pandey.
One Day is a story of a man who risks everything just to be with his crush for one day. He pretends to be her boyfriend after she suffers a memory loss after an accident. The film had achieved commercial and critical acclaim and Junaid is expected to begin shooting for the film in November in a three month schedule.
While Aamir will produce this film for Junaid, he has himself taken a break from acting at the moment, after the release of Laal Singh Chadha. He had said in an interview that he wants to take a break from acting to spend time with his kids and family and be there for them. He had also said, he wants to be there for his son since he is also beginning his career.
